I have installed Chronoforums, I also run Community Builder, When i log in and try to post it tells me to login? seems that CB and Chrono are not working together? How can I get chronoforums to notice that my users are logged in and use the appropriate ID

Maybe because your users don;t have enough permissions, please make sure to configure the permissions correctly in the extension's admin area, or nobody will be able to make posts even if they are logged in.

I have the same problem - I have checked all permissions and they are set to allowed for both categories and forums yet it asks me to log in whenever I try to post....

Can anyone who me where I am going wrong?

I am using an unvalidated install.

Could you please tell me how did you fix it? Cause I have the very same problem.
I gave all permissions, still it asks me to login.

The settings in privileges fixed this:
Set for permisson: Not Set (instead of Denied)
