2 emails to different recipients

tywox 20 Mar, 2013
Hi,

I have created some forms in chronoforms (V4 RC3.5.3). I want to send 2 different emails to different recpients:
Events -> OnSubmit -> Auto Server Side Validation -> Email1: Template1; static recipient A
In the same Auto Server Side Validation -> Email2: Template2; dynamic recipient B

Recipient B gets only email2. But recipient A gets both emails.
I have checked several times: recipient A has no entry in email block 2.

Is this a normal behavior or a bug?
Have I configured something wrong?

Greetings Michael

HI Michael.

This isn't normal behaviour. There was another similar report recently but when I tested the form it worked OK :-(

PS I'd put the Email actions *after* the Auto Serverside validation action and not use the On Success event.

I also tried to place the both email actions after the auto server side validation -> same effect.

I changed the order of the 2 email blocks: the recipient of the first email will also get the second email. Dynamic or static mail recpient doesn't mather.

I placed one email block into and one outside the auto server side validation, so the two email blocks aren't "at the same level". I will get the same mail error.

Hi tywox,

Please take a Form Backup using the icon in the Forms Manager and post it here (as a zipped file) or PM or email it to me and I'll take a closer look.

Hi Michael,

The form works as expected here. Just one copy of email is received. I'm not sure what else to suggest.

I did notice that you have the same To and From addresses in one of the emails. This can sometimes cause problems - but usually with lost emails rather than extra ones.
