Form "Quick Moving Estimate" needs to work on Chrome

Hi Bob,
Joomla user here. I'm new to ChronoForms and love this extension. I have recently started to work at elitemover.com, with Joomla 1.5.26 and ChronoContact/ChronoForms 3.1 RC5.5. I know I have inherited an outdated Joomla version.

I inherited some interestsing form behavior I need fixed pretty quick. Have budget can pay for fix.

When an end user visits the site from IE 8 and fills out the "Quick Moving Estimate" form and hits the "Get Estimate" button the following happens;
1. An elite domain based thankyou.html page returns to authenticate analytic conversion (Google Analytics).
2. Sends form data to hellomover.com a moving CRM sales lead database.
3. Opens another window that reveals an inventory checklist when submitted, also goes to CRM.

When an end user visits Chrome v.25;
1. An elite domain based thankyou.html page returns to authenticate analytic conversion.
2. No form data sent to CRM.

Pop-up blockers are not enabled even though the problem is different most likely.

I need this browser compatibility to work since I have digital media coming online. I'm planning major upgrades but need to set up staging servers, back-ups

and migration to Joomla 3.0 and Chronoforms to match. Any thoughts?

If possible, please quote.

Thank you,
David Berg

Hi David,

If I understand correctly the CRM save succeeds from IE8 but fails from Chrome? That's pretty unusual, it's usually IE that messes things up.

How is the CFM Save done? I'd expect it to be from a cURL plug-in after the form submits? If that is the case it's hard to see why the browser would have any effect. Do you see anything different if you turn the debugger on in the form (and in the cURL action)?

Bob
