Add a chronoform in an article

Shoshanab 13 Mar, 2013
I am a novice with Chronoform so please excuse my very simple question.

I can't seem to add the form into my article.

I've installed the plug-in for ChronoForm and enabled it & added the following code into HTML section of the article:

{chronocontact}form_name{/chronocontact}

I've tried

<div>{chronocontact}form_name{/chronocontact}</div>

And nothing...

Not sure what I'm doing wrong but I can't seem to figure out how to get the form into an article!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Shoshanab,

Looks like you've checked most of the important things, but if you are using ChronoForms v4 then you need to use {chronoforms}form_name{/chronoforms}. Check the Plug-in settings to be sure.

Thanks so much for your reply!

I made the change (as I am using version 4) but instead of the form appearing online... the code "{chronoforms}Passover2013{/chronoforms}" appears instead😟.

Any other suggestions?

When I check the plug-in, what exactly should i be looking for?

Thanks for your time!

Hi Shoshanab,

Please post a link to the article so I can take a quick look.

The Plug-in settings just tell you which tags to use for the version of the plug-in you have installed, nothing much extra. Please see this FAQ for the other things to check.

Hi Shoshanab,

I'm wondering if you have the plug-in installed and enabled. The tags in the article look OK, except that they are inside <p> tags which will prevent the form from working in IE.

But why are you trying to embed the form in an article at all? It looks fine on the stand-alone form page?
