Hi! can anyone help me out on how to fix my form? Basically I need to position my label text before the text area (field) NOT above the text field. Please refer to the screen shot attached

It's impossible to tell from an image. Use your browser web developer tools to look at the page and see what CSS is being applied.
[list=a]You might have the ChronoForms 'Label Over' option checked; or
You might have the form too narrow to display the full width without doubling up like this; or most likely
Your template CSS is set to make forms look like this. [/list:o]
