white page when validation of a form and with the wizards

jd3p 28 Feb, 2013
Hello,
I'm using chronoforms on joomla.
Since a few days, when i fill forms on my website,i get a white page when i click on the submit button.
I also get a white page when i'm in the forms manager and i click on "wizard edit" to edit my forms.

This happen for all the forms except one (which does not have any tables connected).

Somebody have any idea about this?

PS : i'm a beginner using chronoforms and joomla.

Hi jd3p,

Please see this FAQ and see if you get a more helpful error message. Then post that back here.

Hi Bob,

Thank you for your answer.

i didn't noticed before, but when i tried to set the error reporting to "Maximum, when i apply the changes, i also have a blank page.

Maybe it's a problem with PHP.

Do you have any other ideas?

Hi Florian,

Hmmm . . . that shouldn't happen. Is there anything in the server logs?

Hi Bob,

Actually the server is hosted at ovh.com.

So i don't have any server logs.

I had a mail a few days ago that said OVH killed a script running on the server (and taking to much ressources).
But when i called them, they told me all was fine.

Hi Florian,

I'm sure that ovh.com still have servers logs somewhere . . .

Yes i found logs files.
But it's hard for me to understand it.
I'm a beginner using joomla.
The fact i get a blank page when i try to set the error reporting to "Maximum" maybe mean that the problem is not on chronoforms but on all the joomla.

One of my chronoform is still working : the one that is not linked to a database, so maybe the problem can also be here.

What do you think about it?

Thank you

Hi Florian,

Sorry but it's impossible to say without more information. A blank page is usually a sign of a PHP Error but without knowing what the error is, it is tough to diagnose. The information you need is usually found either by setting the site Error reporting to Maximum or by checking the server logs.

Hello bob,

My problem has finally been solved.
In fact the website has been hacked (that's why i didn't came back here, i have been quite busy).

The hacker had added some lines in all php files, that's why the chronoforms weren't working well.

So it was php problem, you were right : thank you very much for your help.

Have a nice day
goodbye

Hi jd3p,

I'm very sorry to hear that your site has been hacked, that always a big problem :-(
. . . and pleased that the problem wasn't with ChronoForms :-)
