Handle two submit buttons with ChronoForms

pupi93 25 Feb, 2013
Hello! I am an Italian boy! I do not know the language well! I am using Google Translate to translate my problem, that no one here knows how to solve the Italian forums! I rely on you then.

I installed the plugin ChronoForms management form!

Now I have a problem!
Add a button called "Add" This takes the data from the form with required fields and save them on a table in my DB via "DB save" in the events section!

Now if you want to manage another button on the same page and then form part of the same named for example "Delete" which would allow me to delete a record in my table, how would I go?

If I add two buttons, however I click on them the same action, namely the rescue! I do not want this.
I want the button to be separated in order to perform different actions.

Also If I create the second button "Delete", it is always connected to the fields of the button "add", in fact it is required, I will be required also in the process of elimination, and I do not want that!

How do I do! It 's about a week that I can not find a solution! Help me!
thanks🙂

Hi pupi93,

Google translate has given some slightly odd English in places so I'm sorry if I have misunderstood.

You can add two (or more) submit buttons in your form and give them the same name but different values.

Then in the On Submit event of your form use a Custom Code action (or my Event Switcher [GH] action) to check the value and run the necessary actions.

Please see this FAQ for more on conditional actions.
