Chronoforms V4 with Joomla plugin problem

Stylesoftware 13 Feb, 2013
Hi all,

Just installed a 2.5.9 Joomla, with very few additions, went straight for Chronoforms.
installed and enabled: Chronoforms_V4_RC3.5.2_J1.6.zip
created a form called 'submittender', made sure it was published.
installed and enabled: Chronoforms_J1.6_V4_RC3.0_Plugin.zip
installed and enabled: Mod_Chronoforms_J1.6_V4_RC3.0.zip

edited an article and added {‍chronoforms}submittender{/chronoforms} into the HTML

I get nothing except the words above in my article.
Rechecked each of the above was in a green tick published or enabled state.

Only abnormality was I accidentally installed the v3 plugin, which died with PHP errors, I then uninstalled the v3 plugin and got the right v4 plugin.
After that I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the v4 plugin, enabled it, still no forms in my article.

[EDIT: I double checked my {‍chronoforms}submittender{/chronoforms} was between div's not p's, still no go]
[EDIT: Lastly I loaded and enabled: mtupgrade.zip the mootools upgrade, still no go]
[EDIT: Works fine in the 'Frontend view', and 'Test Form' situations, making me think its a plug-in only problem]

[THE WORK AROUND: So I just couldn't make the plugin work, but I found if I loaded the chronoform module: Mod_Chronoforms_J1.6_V4_RC3.0.zip, Enabled it, Set the position to 'tenderform', Enabled 'Content - Load Modules' in the extension manager, and used {loadposition tenderform} in my article, it worked great]

Hi Stylesoftware,

As far as I know the plug-in is working OK with Joomla! 2.5

Please post a link to the form so I can take a quick look.
