Need Help by the Validation

Hello,

sorry for my verry bad english. i do my best.
I have a Problem with the Chronoforms Validation. It have no function and
I need support for dummies. I create a Contact-Formular.

By creating i have set by all boxes a hook by required! But there is no funktion.
I read there is a conflict with mootools and jquiry.
Therefore i rename in the index.php (js/mootools.js in mootools.js.old)
<script type="text/javascript" src="templates/<?php echo $this->template ?>/js/mootools.js"></script>
and all was good. ("Yippeee it works")
But after i would create a google map in a articel i see no map, only text.
I renamed again the index.php (back to mootools.js) an i see the map, but the valisation
are again without function.
I need help to find a solution for the problem. I hope there is anyone to give me a solution.

Validation appears to be working OK. What exactly is the problem you see?

It's correct but the google map have with these entrys in the index.php no funktion.

If i rename in the index.php the mootools.js.old back into mootools.js
than the map ok but the validation not.

I see a lot of scripts loading there but there is no form or map.

There is a JavaScript error from SqueezeBox by the look of it.

thanks for your quick answere. Now I'm going back to
the beginning and rename the File. You see now that the
google map is loding. please can you tell me why the Chronoform Validation
in this condition not work? if you have a solution you are my new best friend.😀

You do have a mess of scripts loading. I can see two different versions of MooTools there plus JQuery.

Are you using a Joomla! 1.5 template with Joomla! 2.5 for this site?

I did now what do you meen with "forms"
The google map is a plugin. It is with a parameter include a text.
The capcha in the kontakt-formular are in funktion. Why this is going?
I hope so that you can help.

You still have two different versions of MooTools loading. You need to remove the MooTools 1.12 version.

i change the mootools version of 1.4.5
So i think all mootools versions are now the same.
i test it, but its still the same problem.
do you have a nother option for me?
chronoforms are a great programm. i will it! i hope we get the thing to run.

Hi microboss,

You don't need two copies of MooTools, please remove one of them.

You still have a JavaScript error from the Squeezebox code - which I think may be caused by JQuery running on the page without being in noConflict mode.

I don't see any form or map now?

Just to be clear, I don't think that this is a ChronoForms problem.

If I remove one of mootools the Site dosn't work correct.
It does not matter if i make this or this i do not get to run.
But i never give up to find a solution.

Hello Bob,

I found a solution! In Joomla extension/plugins/google_maps
you can in the general settings "Load with mootools?" make a
switch to "timeinterval".
And now! It's o.k.
Thank you for your support! Now I can use chronoforms. Great!
