Hello Overthere,
I just migrated from J1.5.23 to J2.5.8 and updated Chronoforms to v4rc3.5.2 j1.6.
Before it was possible for "Managers" to do the backups but now the menu-item is missing. "Administrators" can see the component nonetheless. Simply setting the permissions under "Components" doesn't seem to work though.
I already searched the forum and Google about commponents and permissions but to no avail. Am I missing something?
Regards, Ralf.

Ups, sorry, wrong text 😑
The problem is Chronoforms (and Akeebas) menu-items are not displayed for Managers after the migration. For Akeeba this was solved by using the components own option for setting Access-Rights. I couldn't find anything similar in CF. Is there any such option?

Hi Ralf,
Ah, that make sense. I'm afraid that, as far as I know, Max hasn't implemented any ACL rights in ChronoForms yet :-(

Hi Bob,
just that I understand this right: For the time being CF-forms can only be edited by Administrators and Superusers? That would be really lame :-( If so, have you any clue, when 2.5 conform ACL-handling will get implemented?

Hi Ralf,
I don't know much about ACL user permissions so I'll take your word for it that you can't grant permissions to Managers.
I have no idea what Max's plans are for future releases so can't say when that functionality will be added. You could ask him through the 'Contact Us' link above.
