v4 Save to Database Issue

ozneilau 12 Jan, 2013
Hi,

First of all, thanks very much for releasing the Joomla 3.0 version of ChronoForms and I see that the module and plug-in are available now too. This is awesome!🙂

I have similar symptoms to http://chronoengine.com/forums/index.php?option=com_chronoforums&cont=posts&f=2&t=87672

The first record seems to save correctly but subsequent saved records have some database table columns empty.

When submitting the form, the following error is displayed:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/[account name]/public_html/administrator/components/com_chronoforms/form_actions/db_save/db_save.php on line 50

When attempting to view the data in ChronoForms administration, the following errors are displayed:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/[account name]/public_html/administrator/components/com_chronoforms/controller.php on line 545

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/[account name]/public_html/administrator/components/com_chronoforms/views/list_data.php on line 12

Listing data records for table: jv3_chronoforms_data_[table name]

This table has no primary keys and its records can't be viewed!

I am using:

Joomla 3.0.2
PHP 5.3.17
ChronoForms v4.0 RC3.5.2.2

I've been using ChronForms for quite a while and am not doing anything particularly fancy up to the database save step and the configuration is all pretty much at the defaults.

Any ideas are most welcome!🙂

I am happy to PM some admin credentials if that makes it any easier.

Thanks,

Neil.

Hi Neil,

CFv4 RC 3.5.3 fixes this and should be released in the next day or so, I have a pre-release version that seems OK so far.

Bob,

You are a legend as usual, not only with a great answer, but also during anti-social hours over a weekend!

Thanks very much.

Neil.😀

Hi Bob,

Just to confirm that I downloaded and installed ChronoForms V4 RC3.5.2.5 for Joomla 3.0 and everything is now working flawlessly.

I wish everything in life were this easy!

All the best,

Neil.
