History
- Started with clean install of ChronoForms V2.5 for Joomla 1.5 running in Legacy 1.0 mode.
- Had issue with CB registration plug-in & made bug fix
- Attempted install of Server Authentication exactly as directed... didn't work... reverted back to original files
- Had issues with data not being written to table when CB plug-in was not in use
- Saw post re using files from upgrade zip rather as they may have a newer component over installer we used
- Swapped files... system melted down
- Attempted to revert files back, no luck
- Uninstalled plug-in via joomla control panel--successfully uninstalled plug-in
- Attempted uninstall of module via joomla--Uninstall Failed
- looked at files... some remaining files
- eliminated all com_chronocontact files under /components and /admin/components
- Checked joomla modules... now clean
- Checked database... tables for old forms still there but all chrono tables gone
- Attempted clean install using joomla installer--install was successful...
BUT no admin control panel and no Chronoform drop down
- Checked files... all seem to be there... without CB fix, without Server Verification fix, without use of old upgrade files
Repeated process of cleaning, rebooting server, reinstalling... still no control panel and no Chronoform drop down.
Can anyone offer any suggestions? Please...
