I just tried to install CFV4 on a server.
Whatever mrthod I choose a get an error message:
I tried to change the permissions of components and administrator/components to no avail.
Ftp is not enabled in joomla control panel.
Some cue to solve this?

Hi Maxx,
I'm afraid that it's still a server permissions issue of some kind :-( I don't think that ChronoForms does anything very special in the installation process though I haven't looked in detail for a while.
Do you get the same message with a manual installation??

Hi Bob,
I put the zip file in a folder. The path to the folder is the same of the Install from Directory field of the extension manager.
I'll check all the permissions of the folders where cf installs files. 😟
