In the current version of Chronoforms, is it possible to add Optgroup tags in select fields in the Wizard editor without having to use custom code mode?
Hi e2digital,
I haven't seen this asked before but I think that the answer has to be 'No' it isn't. All of the code I remember just converts entries to option lists with to way to mark out an option group.

Hi. Sorry to bump an old thread but is there any way around this? I build a large form using the wizard and i don't want to switch to the code editor unless i really have to.
Thanks

Hi glens1234,
I'd do it using a Custom Element element in the Preview box. You just need to add the <select>, <option> and <optgroup> tags there and ChronoForms will do the rest.

<select name='xxx' id='xxx' class='yyy' >
<optgroup label='aaa'>
<option value='1'>text a</option>
. . .
</optgroup>
<optgroup label='bbb'>
. . .
