1) When left blank the "required" pop-up appears way off to the left. This only happens for the datepicker, the other fields work just fine.
2) I have set my startview to Decade but when I try and select a date it doesn't select properly i.e. I click the year and that works fine. I then then to click the month twice and then when I click the date it jumps two months ahead after which I need to scroll back to the correct month and reselect the date.

Please switch to the MooTools DatePicker on the form General tab. I think that the selection problems arise with the Default DatePicker plus later versions of the MooTools library.

This may also fix the error message problem, if not please check that you have both 'required' boxes ticked on the DatePicker element settings.
