CC4 Toolbar Edit/Update State bug

givsmart 25 Oct, 2012
Hello,

I am using CC4 & CF4, and I have a CC listing with toolbar enabled and displaying new, edit, remove, and update state buttons.
Permissions for read, create, update, delete are all set to public in CC's admin/front permissions.

[Remove] button works, correct db records are deleted. [Edit]and [Update] work ONLY for the first column of the list.
[New] doesn't work at all.
I've spent hours trying different settings (including different suggestions from this forum), nothing seems to work. I also tried adding connectivity tasks to the form, that didn't help.

Any suggestions? Is this a bug or what?

Front Listing

Thanks!

Hello,

I think that we have solved this by email and the problem was the "Relative URL" setting in your form, it has to be enabled.🙂

Hello everyone, I have a similar problem,
I have Joomla 1.5.26 with ChronoConnectivity_V4_RC3.2_J1.5.
Activating the toolbar (in front end) I see three buttons. New - Delete - Publish/Unpublish.
Clicking New I get redirected to Home Page
Selecting the record (with the flag) and clicking Delete I get redirected to Home Page
Selecting the record (with the flag) and clicking Publish / Unpublish I get redirected to Home Page
Moving the mouse over the link are all three #
The code is:
_ADD_:New,_DELETE_:Remove:,_BINARY_:Publish/Unpublish:1:Comment.published

I can not figure out what I'm missing.
😟

Hello,

Do you have SEF ON ? if yes then you have to create a menu item for your connection and access it through that menu item's link, the direct access from the "Frontend view" will cause problems with the toolbar.

Hi Max,
I use AceSEF, but I tried disabling it completely without results.
