random security questions

ursulaminor 20 Oct, 2012
Hi there
I haven't bought ChronoForms because I can't figure out if it can do what I need it to do. I need registered users, on their first login, to set up some random security question/answer combinations, so that on subsequent logins, they'll have to answer one of them in order to gain access to the site. (ie mother's maiden name, your pet's name etc)

Can I make ChronoForms do this somehow? I can't find a Joomla extension anywhere, that does this specifically. Any advice would really be so helpful.

Hi Mary-Lynne,

I've never seen anyone do exactly that but I think it should be fairly straightforward. You'd need to collect the questions and answers (or just the answers) and save them in a database table to re-load when they next log in.

The free version of ChronoForms is fully functional so you can test it out as much as you like. Please see this FAQ.

Thanks for your quick response! I will have to do some experimenting.
