Is the Captcha working OK?
If so these may be caused by a virus scanner or some other security check on the site. Do they come at regular times?

I have not noticed a consitant time that these blanks are coming through and the captcha is working correctly. I will keep an eye on any further emails to see if there is any consistancy to them. Thank you so much for your time and the reference to the FAQ document that you provided.

One other thing that may help is to add the IP address to the Email temporarily. In one case of duplicates emails I found that one was coming from the client and the other from a Google IP address - we think that Google Analytics was triggering something in that case.
