Hi!
I blew up my form and because some features did not work, I decided to uninstall and install Chronoform again keeping in mind that I have made a back-up.
So, after installation: Restore form > browse filexyz.cfbak > submit file and .... nothing happens.
Doing something wrong?

Hi Rajah,
No idea I'm afraid, the backup have always worked for me. They are just text files so you can try opening it in a text editor and copying the chunks of text into a new form.

That's very strange Bob.
I have 2 forms: your "test_form" and "Reservering".
If I backup test_form I get a test_form.cfbak with a text file like you said.
If I backup "Reservering" I get Reservering.cfbak but not as a textfile but with formatted fields. See attachment.
Also after reinstallation of Chronoform the problem persists.
I hope you have any idea. [file name=Reservering.cfbak size=8628]http://www.chronoengine.com/images/fbfiles/files/Reservering.cfbak[/file]
The attachment looks like the Code and the output as I see it as backup is like Design in Dreanweaver.

Hi Rajah,
The file you attached looks OK to me, I just clicked and opened it in my browser . . .
And the form seems to restore OK too.

Just to inform you:
I made a backup on another computer and with that file I could restore the form on the original computer. Don't understand why, but I have a workaround now and so it's not Chronoform related problem.
Problem solved: the file was opened with Excel. Changed it in Open with Notepad.
Thanks for testing.
I will make a new topic "Validation radio group" where you can see my next problem with the same file Reservering.cfbak.
