Hi there,
I purchased the "Chronofrom with hideable sections" how to do and it worked fine for my previous site with V3 Chronoform version. Now I am developing the new version of the website with Joomla 2.5 and V4 Chronoform.
Where should I add the Javascript in the wizard ? Do I have to add a Custom Code box at the beginning of the form ?
Is there a wat I can put the rel="" code using the Wizard ?
The doc comes with the warning "This document was written for ChronoForms v3 on Joomla! 1.5;
it may be possible to adapt the contents to ChronoForms v4 and/or Joomla! 1.6
but this has not been tested."
Do you plan to test it or to create an ad hoc solution for this feature ?
Thanks in advance for your always collaborative help

Hi petermazzi,
The problem with CFv3 was handling the validation of hidden inputs - you need to turn off the validation if they are hidden. I never worked out how to do this* with the LiveValidation library and the tutorial was a good practical workaround.
In CFv4 you can manage the validation by disabling inputs when they are hidden so the Usable Forms code isn't needed. I have a part finished tutorial on this (I have the simple cases working OK, some of the more complicated inter-linked ones still need work). There are also some threads here on doing it this way.

* Another user did manage to work it out in the end and the method is in the forums.

Hi Greyhead, is the tutorial available yet ? cannot find online...
Cannot find also the other forum threads, explaining how to do this kind of validation.
Any suggestion, will be highly appreciated !

So I guess it is not possible to set it directly through the Wizard. Is it right ?
No, not in the wizard!
