Hi
I'm slowly building up a reasonable form with the necessary actions to catch SPAM and to check user input.
However, if I try to delete an event from the On Load section it deletes all actions AND the On Load box.
If I then save the form and go back to the Events tab there is a new On Load section, but no events in it.
This seems to happen regardless of how many actions are being stored. Obviously you need more than one to see it happen.
Has anyone else come across this? Or can anyone shed some light on it for me?
Cheers!
Brian
Hi Brian,
This is one for Max when he is back. It might be worth sending him a note with the Contact Use form to direct him here.
I've not experienced this but I think that there is one other thread that talks about something similar.

I am having the same problem
Hi,
Could somebody send me an admin login to his website with this problem please ? I can't reproduce it here and so I can't find a solution for it.
Regards,
Max

Hi All.
I have the same issue. Everything was fine until I started adding captcha functionality to my forms.
Has this issue been resolved since this thread was started?
Thanks
Hi TwoArmedBandit,
I haven't seen it reported recently. Please take a Form Backup using the icon in the Forms Manager and post it here (as a zipped file) or PM or email it to me and I'll take a closer look.
Bob
Hi TwoArmedBandit,
No obvious problems here. I can add and delete actions from the On Load event and re-save the form with no errors.
Running CFv4 3.5.1 on Joomla! 2.5.8

Weird. I'm on 4.0 RC3.5.1 on Joomla version 1.5.23
Backing up and restoring the form didn't fix it either.
It was working fine until I dropped the captcha stuff in there. Oh well. Time to rebuild the form...
Hi TwoArmedBandit,
Ah on Joomla! 1.5.25 I see the same problem :-( Long time since I used that version.
What do you need to change? You can restore the version that you sent me to get back an On Load event.
Bob
Glad it's not just me. I really should upgrade, but I don't want to have to go through the pain of such a significant change.
Anyway. I haven't lost any events, I just cancel before the changes are applied.
Thanks for the offer of help though. I'll work around it.
Just so you know, same problem here - Joomla 1.5.23 and the latest Chronoforms 4.0 RC 3.5.1. Not the end of the world because I can just disable the captcha that I'm trying to remove from the On Submit event, but it would just be a little cleaner to get rid of it.

For anyone who runs into this problem, the workaround is to move the offending event from the top slot down to a lower position, then apply (or save) the changes. Then you can delete it, as long as it's not in the top spot.
Phil
Hi Phil,
Thanks for the workaround - excellent.
