Hi Guys

I use CF for my website “contact us’ form and don’t know why I have never thought to use it for other parts of my site.

I am currently stuck with Joomla 1.5 due to the lack of support of CBMailing. As you are aware CBMailing uses community builder list to allow “in my case” registered users to email other club members within the same list or other groups that I allow. ie, Instructors or committee members.

Is there a way that CF can use the community builder lists to populate an email group and if so would you be able to provide some sample code. I would need available members list to be displayed in a list box.

I hope I have found a perfect “supported” replacement for CBMailing.

Hi Dave,

I don't know anything much about CB and even less about CB Mailing :-( But, if you can extract the data you need from the CB tables then you can probably use ChronoForms to create your lists and send emails. My experience is that the CB tables are not the most straightforward but that it is possible to get data out.

Thanks for your quick reply. Assuming i can query the tables would you be able to provide a code snippet example how to show the selected list in a drop down box and how this would be used to email the selected users.
