Checkbox Email Results Also Includes Field Name

LikeStuff 04 Jun, 2012
I have a checkbox field with two options:
- Website
- Facebook Page

The name of the field is "Posting-Instructions".
On the "Handle Arrays" I have this: (Posting-Instructions,)

When the content comes into my email it looks like this:

WebsitePosting-InstructionsFacebook Page

Why does it have the field name in the middle?

Thanks!!

Hi LikeStuff,

What do you have in the Email Template for this input?

I'm out of ideas😟 😟 I tried a host of things and nothing is making a difference. EG: I removed the "-" from the field name {PostingInstructions}, removed the label, did some other things but the submission is still coming in like this:

I don't get what I could be missing?

Hi LikeStuff,

Please take a Form Backup using the icon in the Forms Manager and post it here (as a zipped file) or PM or email it to me and I'll take a closer look.

Hi LikeStuff,

Sorry for the delay, I got diverted off to other things.

What's happening is that the Handle Arrays action is converting the results into a string using the delimiter that you set. Normally this would be a comma or a space but you have specified a string . . .

Oh my Had no clue that's what supposed to go there. I read a post about it and thought I was doing it correctly. Sorry about that, but thank you for your help!!

Regarding that same file that I sent you, I had made a post, as per below. If you have some time, can you see if you can figure out why the pop-up validation message for the "Date" field is so way off the page to the left? I don't know if this is specific to me or if it's an issue with the date field.
