Hello,

I installed CF in localhost to make some test before going upload to my main site, but i alway get this error event i restored the form which is working on my main site atm

Could not instantiate mail function. Invalid address: email_contactCould not instantiate mail function.

Im trying to make a calculator form to calculate the amount for loan, is there any tutorial to do that? Or may CF can do that? If yes please give me some guide.

Hi LouisTran,

That's probably because you don't have a Mail Server set up on your local server. You probably don't need one but you won't be able to send emails from your forms until you have it on a live server.

You can create loan calculators with ChronoForms but you have to write the code to do the calculation.

You'll find many examples of JavaScript of PHP calculations in the forums here. If the coding is too difficult for you then you may need to get help from someone with more PHP of JavaScript knowledge.
