How to Modify CSS in form

FDigital01 16 May, 2012
I am using V4 and am finding it very difficult to use. There appear to be lots of features but how to use them is a mystery.

There are no tutorials of any use. The simple tutorials show very very basic forms, which is ok, but I need more.

I have no faith in buying the recipe because any information I have read is too hard to understand.

Is there anywhere I can go to get some information that is easy to follow?

I want to style the form as the basic form is awful.
I want to be able to send information by email to the administrator.

Help please or I will have to scrap Chronoforms and try something else.

Hi FDigital01,

I'm not sure what tutorials you have looked at. There are a series of videos here that will help you get started with CFv4, including sending an email to the administrator.

There are two tutorials Basics 1 and Basics 2 here that try to explain and elements, actions, and events and what they do.

You can style the form with CSS either using the Load CSS action, or by editing the ChronoForms CSS files, or loading your own.

After that it does depend a lot what you want your form to do.
