Receiving the Data & "Form Sent" Possibility

Rev_Tony 08 May, 2008
ChronoForm is working now and I have two new questions.

#~~~~~~~#~#~~~~~~~#

1) Data gets emailed with two tabs between each item. This ends up being a long string of field names and data.

I would like each field name and data entry to be on a separate line. Is there an easy way to make ChronoForms put a return character between the data so that each field name and field data item appears on its own unique line, hopefully flushed left?

2) Is there any way to get some kind of message after the form has been transmitted saying "Your form has been sent"? Possibly an image could be displayed after the data has been submitted. Can a unique article be displayed? Looking for a way to let the user know that his data has been sent. If I could give them more of a message at that time, even better.

Thank You.

Hi Tony,

The default format is to send the data in a table with the input name in the firs column and the data in the second. I'm not sure where the tabs are appearing from.

You can over-ride this with your own email template. Turn in on in the General Tab and enter the html in the Form Code tab using {fieldname} where you want the field values.

For 'Thank You messages - please see this FAQ.
