Once you've installed it in the same way as you normally install a component, you just to to the Components menu at the top and near thew top of the dropdown you should see 'Chronoforms'. Click on that and you'll be able to use the 'New' button, or better still for getting started, the 'form wizard' option.
If you haven't got the option on your components menu then chronoforms isn't installed properly, go to the extension manager, Manage extensions and search for 'chrono'. If it's ther then uninstall it, make sure you have the most recent version downloaded from this site and try re-installing it. There was an issue with an earlier version not opening up the wizard properly, but that is resolved now.

Hi,

You may also check Bob's videos here:

The "installation" and "first form" videos should show you the first few steps, if the menu option is missing then there is something wrong with your install and you should consider reinstalling.

thanks for the help, but I was such an idiot. When you install the Chrono forms it installs with the component disabled. This is why it did not show up in the components drop-down.

Just needed to go to the extension manager and enable it.

Most components install enabled.

Hi mooreg42,

I think that ChronoForms does too; I've never had to enable it or seen that reported here. Maybe just an odd quirk.
