Using Chronoforms, 3.1 rc5.5, Joomla 1.5 I have a table connected to an online art submission. When I open the table the data appears correctly (475 records with about 25 fields). All fields and all records are present. If I back up to cvs, about 1/3 of the records are skipped through out the table. No discernible order. If I back up to Excel the file appears to have the correct number of records, but is so corrupt that it cannot be opened.
Suggestions on how to download the data?

Hello,
If you have a recent Joomla 1.5 release then you may try to install Chronoforms V4 and use the CSV backup there, hopefully it will work well for you.

Max

Hi drbobhesse,
There are several factors that can corrupt exports in CFv3 - there is a long thread in the forum here with several solutions and I collected some of these and some other fixes in a document that you can buy here.
From your description my best guess is that some of the records contain commas or line-breaks and those are being carried through to the exported file.
In this case it may be easier to try CFv4 as Max suggests or, if the exports are infrequent then you can use try using PHPMyAdmin or the Joomla! EasySQL/AceSQL extenstion to create the files.
