Could not initiate mail function

First and foremost I want to say that ChronoForms seems to be a great piece of software. Thank you for taking the time to create it.

I am getting "could not initiate mail function" when I click submit on my form. I have tried searching the forums and even google and haven't found anything.

- I have confirmed that I can send email from the admin panel just fine. By going to tools->write message.

- I have tried to select the debug option on my form to "yes" and I do not get any debug options when I submit my form other than "could not initiate mail function".

- I have tried different browsers/ and different emails for that matter.

Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong.

this error means that joomla can't send the email because Chronoforms uses joomla's email function to send the emails, try to use the "email to friend" function at the frontend articles, does it work ?

I ended up switching my method of sending mail to SMTP and that worked. I do want to mention that I could send emails with "email to friend" and with other joomla functions. Anyhow I got it working. Thanks for all your help B)
