Hi Devang, please try to disable GZIP compression in the global config of the site, fixes it ?

Hello,

I purchased this components last December and I really enjoyed it (easy to use and powerfull). I had no problem to use it on my site until I migrated last week to Joomla! 1.5.3 (Production/Stable Vahi). Since that time and even if I disabled gzip, I have the same problem as describes above : I am getting a blank screen in admin section. Please also note I using ChronoForms V2.5 J1.5 RC1.

To solve my issue, I plan to upgrade to ChronoForms V2.5 J1.5 RC3.1, but do you think the three forms I have developped will be functional? Any hints/comments regarding the migration process? Thank you.

Hi celini,

Sure, you will go to both the component folders ( com_chronocontact ) and rename them to something like : ( com_chronocontact_old ) then upload the new folders from the RC3.1 package and see if this will do it, try to backup the 3 forms you have before doing anything!

Cheers

Hello Max,

Good news : I followed step by step your instructions and the migration went very well. I used the upgrade package available in your download section. Now I have a functional Admin portion of ChronoForm 2.5 J1.5 RC3.1 working on Joomla! 1.5.3. You guys rock.

If I may add a comment : One of the enhancement will be to have a migration documentation ready for webmasters. This migration procedure can also be on the How To section.

Thank you again Max

Hi Celini,

Great, sure we are working on a full documentation for everyside of the component, hopefully this will be released soon!

Sincerely,
