How do I change validation messages - V4

Hi Bob, Max,

how can I change or customise the validation messages themselves, not the styles but the actual messages? It would be wonderful if this could be included in the next version in the wizard under the validation section of the elements.

Hi Brent,

I think that you can still over-ride them by setting a title attribute; or you can edit the validation language files if you want to make the same change for all forms; or, I think, you can probably over-ride by using a custom options setting.

Where do I find these?

Hi Brent,

You can set the Title from the 'Field Title' option in the element configuration - the dialogue where you se the name and Label text.

The validation language files are in the folder com_chronoforms/js/formcheck/lang
