Goodevening,

Instead of sending a file with an email i want to send a link in the email where someone can download a file.

Adding a link in the email is no problem but the link is not sent /saved correctly.

When adding the link it should be :

http://www.test.com/index.php?option=com_phocadownloadetcetc

but when i receive the testmail the first part is stripped and this is left:

/index.php?option=com_phocadownloadetcetc

Does someone know how i can resolve this ?

Hi Steve,

It looks as though you may have the Rich Text editor turned on in the Email template - that will strip the prefix off local URLs (I have no idea why).
