Sendmail to be handled by another server?

Hi,
I was wondering if there was a way to change sendmail from using the server that the site is on to another server? :unsure:

Hi Nineve,

In site Global Configuration | Server (for Joomal 1.5) you can specify an SMTP host. I don't think it has to be the hosting site at all.
