Problem with attachment at forms

gelokatil 12 Apr, 2012
Hi all,

I set up multiple forms with the option to attach documents, but I can not receive it in the mail recipients.

In the email section, I tried to specify the field that refers to the object of attachment, for example input_file_12, or file1 as it comes in the context help.
I also tried sending the e-mail in text format and in html.

The Upload File option is set to On. Upload Path field is blank and eventually JOOMLA_PATH/components/com_chronoforms/uploads/FORM_NAME/ doesn´t seems to be created automatically.

I have created by hand and there are no files attached.

Php is configure as:

post_max_size = 20M
upload_max_filesize = 20M

and file uploads on

Any ideas?

thanks in advance

Hi gelokatil ,

Please drag a Debugger action into the On Submit event, then submit the form and post the debug - including the 'dummy emails' results here. Note: if you are using the Easy Wizard you may need to switch to the Advanced Wizard to do this; if you want to continue to use the Easy Wizard please make a copy of your form first and add the Debugger action to the copy.

Thank you for the tips, i didn´t know how exactly enable debug mode.

I have discover why im no receiving the attachments.

In the upload file section:

File: I specified: input_file_2:doc-docx-pdf-txt

Seeing the File field description, I assumed that leaving the field blank admit it any kind of attachment. This was my mistake.

Thank you very much.
