Hi carsten888,

There isn't an example form for CFv4 - though you will find many attached to posts in the forums here.

The simplest thing to do is to create a simple form of your own. There are a series of videos here that will help you get started with CFv4.

In this faq:
http://www.chronoengine.com/faqs.html
there is a download link in the first faq to a sample form.

I saw some tutorials, but on my install there is simply no 'events' tab.
Where is the 'events' tab?

4.0 RC3.3

Thanks for Chronoforms.

I installed the component on another site and ... got the 'events' tab. 😀

OK. I figured it out. the forms made with the 'form wizard' have the 'events' tab. Those made with the 'easy form wizard' have not. 😶

Maybe in the forms-manager there could be a column saying which wizard (form_mode) the form uses. And if all 3 modus can be uses for each form, maybe show a link for each modus-view, so the user can decide which view to use.

Hi carsten888,

The Easy Wizard view is one that Max added early on for some users who found the Advanced View too daunting. It adds in 'One of everything' so there are many actions included which you may not need.

You can switch from Easy to Advanced Wizard at any time, but not frpm Advanced to Easy (if you do that some or all changes may be reset).

Separately there are also the Custom Code and Wizard modes for adding the form HTML. If you switch from Wizard to Custom modes that is a one-way move.

Personally I almost always use the Advanced Wizard; and I use the Wizard mode for Form HTML - even if there is existing HTML I copy and paste it into one or more Custom elements to keep the Wizard flexibility and not have to switch windows between the Wizard and the Code tab all the time.
