How to use User info in ChronoformV4 form?

I would like to create a Chronoform for subscription of users to an event. The form will only be available for registered users and I would like to use the Joomla user information, so I won't have to ask for information which is already available.

ChronoConnectivity gives an error when creating new connections. Does anyone know's another way to use User-information in a Chronoform form?

I'm using Chronoform V4 and Joomla 2.5.

You can get the current User info from the Joomla! User Object Search here on 'getUser' and you will find dozens (maybe hundreds) of posts about this.
