Add new connection gives fatal error

hpeterse 07 Apr, 2012
Installed ChronoConnectivity V4 RC1. When adding a new connection, the following error occurs:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method CfactionAuthenticator::get_goptions_list() in /home/deb57186/domains/tvgpd.nl/public_html/administrator/components/com_chronoconnectivity/admin.chronoconnectivity.html.php on line 23

Has anyone an idea how to solve this?

Hi Hans,

I suggest that you upgrade the current release of ChronoConnectivity. I think that will fix this problem.

Bob,

Just downloaded the latest version today (ChronoConnectivity_V4_RC2_J1.6.zip).
This version should also work with Joomla 2.5.

Hi Hans,

Yes, that works with Joomla! 2.5 as far as I know.

Hi Hans,

Please make sure that you have the LATEST Chronoforms version installed anytime you use a new Connectivity release, I will add an admin note on this in the next release hopefully.

I just installed the latest Version of ChronoConnectivity V4.

Error is:

PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method CfactionAuthenticator::get_goptions_list() in xxxxx\\components\\com_chronoconnectivity\\admin.chronoconnectivity.html.php on line 23, referer: xxxxx/administrator/index.php?option=com_chronoconnectivity

I have the latest Chronoforms_V4_RC3.21_J1.6 installed which works fine

Many thanks
Daniel

Hi Daniel,

I have the latest Chronoforms_V4_RC3.21_J1.6 installed

RC3.3 is the latest - I think that's what Max is referring to.

Hi,

how can i update my installed chronoforms app? i tried the button "Apply Updates", but it would only update "Chronoforms Database". I ve made a lot of forms and now i dont know how to make it the right way..., because i would like to use Chronoforms Connectivity.

Hi,

Just download the latest version (V4 RC3.3) and install it OVER the one you have, so do NOT uninstall, just install it over the old one and that should do the trick.

I came across this thread and I am having the same exact problem on my Joomla 1.7.3 installation. I have checked for Joomla updates and have tried everything in this thread and I am still getting that same fatal error when trying to make a new connection:

"Fatal error: Call to undefined method CfactionAuthenticator::get_goptions_list() in /home/content/10/7674910/html/administrator/components/com_chronoconnectivity/admin.chronoconnectivity.html.php on line 23"

I have tried all files for the ChronoConnectivity although the file that is there for ChronoConnectivity files for J1.6/1.7/2.5 is version V4_RC3.2_J1.6.zip

Can any provide any insight for this problem?

I cannot migrate the site to 2.5 or 3.0

Thanks!

Hi ajssibtr,

Do you have ChronoForms installed? ChronoConnectivity requires it.

Bob

Yes, I do have ChronoForms installed. Version 4.0 RC3.0
GreyHead 30 May, 2013
Hi ajssibtr,

That's not the latest release for Joomla 1.6+ please upgrade as there have been bug-fixes.
