Email Field Values

I would like to be able to change the field values of the email before it is sent. I tried using the Submit Code box but this didn't seem to do the trick.

The situation is that I have several drop down lists in my form, and would like to indicate that the user did not make a new choice in the confirmation email. The default choice is not what I want in the email. And I can't make what I want in the email the default choice.

Any suggestions?

Cant you use javascript to achieve this, V2.1 comes with a new field to allow doing this but its not released yet!!

Oh, hmm I have no idea. Javascript is a very unfamiliar language to me. I will look into it.
