By accident I installed CF-V4-J1.5 on J2.5 and that would produce a fatal error the moment you went to the component admin. The mistake is easy to make, when you download V4 from a link on the home page, which leads directly to the J1.5 download. The post looked like the newest one, date wise. So when you download, be aware to look at the exact file name you are downloading ;-) Me old and stupid, but maybe this post will help someone else avoid this mistake ;-)

If you click the Joomla! 1.5 link you do get offered both the CFv3 and CFv4 files, that bit could be clearer but I can't easly change the text there.

When I visited the home page, there were 2 mentions of CF, the second was titled "CF V4 is out". Then I looked at the "date last updated" just above the headline, and V4 is out appeared to be newer. If you follow that link you get to the J15 download. I am not saying there is anything wrong, I was just sharing my mistake. All good.
