Hi,
We know Joomla! registration can only allow one specific email per user right? Now I'm facing a problem that is my site will be adding child's information. Since a child will don't have their own email, so is it possible to create 2 accounts sharing 1 email within Joomla! registration ?
If Joomla! registration is out of the box, by create a registration form, with it's own db, can we use that db data to login which also implying their permission(as registered) to the site because I need the all the users(include the child's) can login to check their own personal details and status.
Need a quick solution and any helps are appreciated.

Hi lovemeplease,
I'm not certain but I think that the email and username have to be unique. You can possibly use extended addresses parent_name@domain.com and parent_name+child@domain.com I think that will work OK.

Hi Bob,
what you mean is it creating fake email addresses that link with the main email then just use the main email for SendMail purpose ?

Hi lovemeplease,
Well, they are real addresses - but sub-addresses of the main one.

Hi Bob,
but do we need all the fuss to create another temporary email for the child ? I'm not arguing since a child wont know how to use an email, only their parents (could)know.
