Problem with Dynamic E-Mail

david-jonas 23 Mar, 2012
Hey Guys,

please help me out of my problem. I've created a short form in advanced mode to place it at a module in the footer. The form is just for unregistered visitors to send a recommendation of my site and has just four fields (name of sender, email of sender, recipient name and recipient e-Mail). Anything worked like a charm BUT it's not possible to just setting up a dynamic recipient and a dynamic sender without a error message that at least one recipient address has to be entered.

Is it possible at all to send the email with the joomla config and to show in the e-mail the name and address of the entered form values?

Thanks in advance,

david

Hi david,

Yes it's possible.

Which version of ChronoForms are you using? You can find the version from Site Admin | Extensions | Install/Uninstall | Components in Joomla! 1.5 or Site Admin | Extensions | Extension Manager | Manage in Joomla! 1.6/1.7/2.5.

Please drag a Debugger action into the On Submit event, then submit the form and post the debug - including the 'dummy emails' results here. Note: if you are using the Easy Wizard you may need to switch to the Advanced Wizard to do this; if you want to continue to use the Easy Wizard please make a copy of your form first and add the Debugger action to the copy.
