I have been reading the forum and all the documentation I could get my hands on but many of the post and documents regarding Joomla registration of a new user on the front end seem to be referring to earlier versions of both Joomla and Chronoforms.
Essentially, we have a closed website where the administrator will be setting up user accounts for these users to then be able to access the site and look up information published in an application we are building.
The administrator could easily set up new users from the backend, but since our application works in the front end even for administrators, it would be a nice touch to let them add users from the front end.
These users are all going to be part of a custom user group called "Suppliers". Therefore the administrator should be able to select that user group to register new users into. Naturally, it would also be easy to go back int the backend and change the user's group, but again it would be a nice touch to be able to do it from one simple form.
Is there a "how to" anywhere on how to accomplish this? Is it even possible?
Thank you for your help.
