Hi. I'm using CF 4.0 RC3.2 on Joomla 2.5.1 and I habe a problem with file attachment field.
When form is submitted with empty attachment-field, it won't submit but showing form error

I don't have "required" = checked.
Form has to be submittable without attachment.
Any Idea?

Is this the latest ChronoForms version 3.2?

If so there's a bug in the File upload code. Please see this post.

I have read that post before, but theres no file / path in our system as mentioned in the post

Mentioned there:
/components/com_chronocontact/libraries/chronoformuploads.php
the file "chronoformuploads.php" cannot be found anywhere else.

We have
/components/com_chronoforms/libraries/chronoform.php
/components/com_chronoforms/libraries/includes/... (data_republish.php,Debug.php,display_errors.php )

Using
Component Version 4.0 RC3.2 for J1.6
Module V4 RC3.0 J1.6
Plugin V4 RC3.0 J1.6

any other idea?

My apologies I saw that error message and 3.2 and jumped to the wrong conclusion.

Please take a Form Backup using the icon in the Forms Manager and post it here (as a zipped file) or PM or email it to me and I'll take a closer look.

I had sent you my backup-file per mail before and now I attached in this post.
This task is urgend for me because our project hangs on the release by the customer on this point.

Will there be a quick solution or a hint to configure CF?

Hi kstrathus,

Hmm I don't see any error. I wonder if this is a hangover from the Event Loop bug in CFv4 Rc3.11 - '4' is the id of the Event Loop in the File Upload action and is the error message you are getting.

Please try re-setting the Event Loop to > On Load and re-save it. Hopefully that will fix the error.
