hi guys,
first of all: great extension, thanks a lot for it!
i'm using chronoforms-registration on my joomla 2.5.1 (chronoforms v4 rc 3.2) with the automatic password-generation.
my question: is it possible to include the additional joomla-registration-userfields (street, town, zip...) in the chronoforms-form? i already created the fields, but how can i activate them to populate user profile?
hope you can give me some ideas.
thanks and best regards,
daniel

Hi Daniel,
I usually suggest that you create a new table for any extra User data items and link it to the Joomla! User with the User ID.
If you want to use the Joomla! 1.6/2.5 User Profile then you'd need to work out how the plug-in saves data and copy that in ChronoForms. I don't know anything about it :-(

Hi Bob,
thanks a lot for your answer; I like chronoforms-capability to register without entering a password as this is what I need. Couldn't figure out how to convince Joomla-Registration to do the same.
Think I'll have to try out your second hint.
Best regards,
Daniel

Hello,
I have the same issue. I am using registration form with additional fields(adress, phone, etc...). The registration is going well (user is created), my extra fields are correctly saved into my separated table but the cf_user_id is stuck at "0". Sounds that the User_id is not saved into my new table. How should I proceed to get this field saved after registration performed ?

Bruno
