Backend User Group Permissions

CardOneConcepts 23 Feb, 2012
Hello,

I am trying to set up a administrator user group with limited access to the joomla back end for content editing reasons. However I do not want these users to have access to the ChronoForms Component. I can not locate an "Options" button to change permissions and the only place I could find a place to designate permissions was under Extend - Extension Manger - Manage - ChronoForm. From there I can check the component and click options but the user group is already set to denied. Yet when I log into the backend as the user I can still access and change things in the Chronoforms component, which is what I am trying to prevent.

Any Ideas?

Im running Joomla 2.5 with the most recent upgrade to ChronoForm.

Hi CardOneConcepts,

I think that Max has just carrried over the Joomla! 1.5 settings to Joomla! 2.5 (i.e. there aren't any) and I haven't seen the question asked before. Personally I tend to provide front-end forms for semi-admin user tasks as far as possible.

If you can dig our what the settings need to be it may be possible to add them to ChronoForms, it's probably something in the xml configuration file.
