Possible to also create menu item when submitting article?

Is it possible to create a menu item for the article I submit by only using a form?
And how if it´s posible?

I have no idea if it's possible or not :-(

Thinking about it, as menu items are just database entries it probably is possible if you work out the data that needs to be saved.
