Hello,
have just joined your forum from Germany, as I have very some strange problem on submitting chronoforms' forms…
I'm working with the newest versions of joomla 2.5 and Chronoforms_V4_RC3.11
on an Apple Macbook pro.
Whichever browser I use, I can submit a chronoform form just one time. when I want to send it with other data or in an other language the browser shows me a failure: error 404 - Component not found
When I close the browser completely and erase the cache I can submit other form entries if I wait at least half an hour and open a blank new browser window…
ISN'T IT STRANGE?
what goes wrong?
the database is obvious working well for all first submits, for every language…
I had never had this problem with previous releases of chronoforms…
Thank you for all your help on this problem, I get already mad on that…
with warm greetings from cold germany…

Hi drai33,
A lot has changed in this version of ChronoForms but nothing that should delay the submission like this. Do you have caching enabled on the site?

Hi Bob,
thanks a lot for your reply. the cache is enabled on normal caching by 15 min.
another funny thing is if i mistype the capcha on the first fresh submitting I get a warning and after correcting the submission is working.
on a second try just after, even if I mistype the capcha it goes straight to the error 404 warning, no capcha warning...
it is sooo strange...
warm regards

hi Bob,
unfortunately: no! nothing changes, the problem stays...
maybe another hint: I have another joomla 2.5 website only in English. on that site the problem doesn't exist.
could it be a multilanguage problem?
but the problem also happens when I want to submit two forms with the same language just one after the other...

Hi drai33,
I don't have any useful suggestions :-( This isn't a common problem and if caching isn't enabled I can't see any obvious reason why the submission should change.
Please post a link to the form so I can take a quick look.

Hi Bob,
thank you for your care!
Meanwhile I have worked a lot on the problem by taking down ans loading up new the whole chronoforms component and rewriting my forms...
Now it the problem is reduced to one last bug...
I can submit more forms in a row in one language now, just when I change the language between it tells me still that failure: error 404 - Component not found
So I have to close down the website and load it fresh again in the other language, than it woks fine again.
For my suggestion: it's a language change bug...
maybe you can find out something
meanwhile I can live with that smaller problem...
Thank you for your support!
with grateful regards
