re-direct url replace "@" with “%40” in string help

fkaram65 05 Feb, 2012
Dear All,

I hope anyone can help. I am doing a re-direct url and everything is working good except for when I pass a parameter/fieldmap with an email address.

When the url string is outputted it replaces the “@” character with an “%40” character. This obviously causes an error and works if I change manually. Any Ideas?

Anyone else experience this and anyone have a solution.

Thanks,

Fred

Hi Fred,

I already replied to your email about this. The '@' character (like spaces and many other special chanracters) is not premitted in URLs so they need to be urlencoded.
