Paypal Integration How To?

Hi there im considering using this form for my website i want people to supply information for review by there peers and pay a fee. the Peer will then be emailed the form only when payment has been recieved. is this possivle?


Sorry im new to webdesign and joomla. can any one tell me how to do this and what other components i need?

Hi Dave,

You can certainly do this kind of thing with ChronoForms without too much difficulty. But you will need to have, or get help from someone who is familiar with Joomla!, PHP and probably PayPal as it will require some custom coding to get it all to work.

this tutorial have a simple listener... but i think that i have need some other little help...

my road:
gone in sandbox for testing purpose and:
1) make a account for development
2) in development create account for business ( to receive payment)
3) in development create account for payment...
4) then... login in account for business
5) create a button paynow... cost 2 €
6) activated IPN
7) activated redirect in a page a form in CF4... there i have the paypal trial listener founded in chronoform ( i try with the code founded in the url but don't work )
8 ) activated the transaction data redirect ( so i have all transaction data in $_GET variable)
Answer1: need i activate paypal pro?

in joomla
1) make a form with the code of my button paynow
the button work only in pure code section in submit
2) make a form where i have the listener paypal trial
if verified then save in database the data that i have in Session
if something wrong... then clean data session and redirect in some page...

i think that i miss something... there is some security trick that i need, i think:

I don't understand this question. You need to have the PayPal Listener in a Custom event and the URL that you send to PayPal should link to the Custom event.

The cURL library is a standard PHP library used to get PHP to talk to othere websites - the PayPal site in this case. FSockOpen is a similar library, you will need to have one of these installed on your webserver to be able to communicate with PayPal.
