no external email's

I am using Joomla 1.7 and Chronoforms J1.6_V4_RC2.0

I have created a long form successfully using the eazy wizard and want to send it
to several different email addresses on submit.

I am very pleased with what I have so far!!

It sends successfully to an internal address (ie to admin@frontiersvcs.com on the site
that I am building - http://www.frontiersvcs.com) although it doesn't get forwarded by
the forwarder set for this address.

However, I can't get it to send to an external address like a gmail address or a yahoo
address.

Can you give me any advice please.

Hi graj,

ChronoForms can't tell the difference between an internal address and an external one. The problem is most likely that you have the email incorrectly configured. Please make sure (a) that the setting for your site mail server are correct and (b) that the From Email address you use matches the domain name of your site.

Thank you for your reply Bob.

In the end I consulted with the Hosting Service Provider to set the Global Configuration email settings correctly.

It's now working correctly and sending submitted forms to email addresses as I would expect.

However I have noticed that it always mails an old version of the form (missing a new field I have added and using the old field labels and section headings) even though my latest version of the form is displayed on the web page for the user to complete.

My apologies if these issues seem rather fundamental.

I have tried to find related items in your FAQ but didn't come across anything that I felt would have helped.

You probably need to update the Email template to include the new input.

The template is up to date and the emails are getting sent as required.
